CompTIA Updates Flagship CompTIA A+ Certification

CompTIA A+ is an ISO/ANSI accredited certification that validates foundation-level information & skills essential for a career in IT service & support. More than 900,000 IT specialized have earned the record since it was introduced in 1993.

Employers rely on certifications when hiring because certified IT workers have a better skill to realize new and multifaceted technologies; are more creative & bring more perceptive trouble solving to the workplace.

A 2011 CompTIA study found 64 percent of IT hiring managers rated certifications as having very high or high worth in validating the skills & knowledge of job candidates. Eight in ten HR professionals surveyed whispered IT certifications will rise in value & importance over the next two years.

A 2012 study by the Illinois Community College Board, Illinois State Board of Education & Northern Illinois University establish that earnings for community college students with a CompTIA certification enlarged 12.26% within 9 months of earning the record, compared to a 2.71% earnings boost for students without a certification.
